A hub of transportation in London, England, both wizarding folk and muggles alike come and go from this bustling trainstation. But only the wizarding folk can make sense of tickets bearing the platform number 9 3/4.

Tapping just the right brick in the wall behind the Leaky Cauldron pub in London will reveal an archway which is a portal into Diagon Alley, a long cobbled street where is to be found a strange and exciting assortment of shops and restaurants.

| Knockturn Alley
Knockturn Alley is a dingy alleyway where the shops are devoted to Dark Arts items. The alley is connected to Diagon Alley near Gringotts. Shops carry things such as shrunken heads, rare potion ingredients, and occasionally a hand of glory.

| Hogsmeade Village
Located across the lake from the school, Hogsmeade is the only entirely wizarding village in Britain. It's a picturesque village of little thatched cottages and shops where you can purchase some of the best chocolate known to witches and wizards everywhere.

As the governmental authority of the Wizarding World in Britain, the basic mission of the Ministry is to keep the Muggles from finding out about an entire culture of magical folk. They also oversee interactions with other magic-users from other nations and provide a framework of law for magic-users with its realm.

Founded in late 1500s or early 1600s by Mungo Bonham, St. Mungo's Hospital is located in London. The Healers at St. Mungo's are trained and equipped to treat a wide variety of magic-related illnesses and injuries.
